Lamp to my Feet......
This is a verse that is very familiar to us. Many children's programs learn this verse and it is also such a great visual of how God's word is a light to help us along the way. God does not want us to stumble but wants our path to be brilliant with light so that we are very sure of the way to go... Left or right or straight. I think that God's path is always clear if we are in his word and following his lead. I know that many times I have gone off into the bushes and it is very dark out there without the light of God's word. I guess that means that being in God's word is a way to make sure that the path is lit.

Hi Liz I've been reading the blog when I get a chance but have been quite busy - now VBS is over-
I love this verse - it's so visual- don't make one move until you've consulted the guidebook or map of life. Like children, we all crave direction and bounderies and thankfully we know peace when we follow God's perfect plan.
Keep up the great blog - thanks for sharing! -Kris
What reasonates most for me in this passage is that "I constantly take my life in my hands". As much as we want to follow the plan that God has for our lives we get overtaken by our own desires to accomplish our own agenda. When I take time to read, pray and meditate it allows me to come back to what is really important in life. It usually only lasts for a day, but a day is good!
